Another member was good enough to promise to send a copy of Spiderman III from Australia (well, in exchange for payment :) ). My concern is that is it's now past the norm for shipping time (as per the US and Australian postal website).

Another member who's in the same boat share these feelings of increasing unease.

While we have not been able to reach Surpher (PM and e-mails have yet to be returned), I'm hoping that either someone else who has dealt with this member or bought things from individuals in Austrailia could assure us all is all.

FWIW, it's been 12 weekdays (norm is 6-10 days).

I've bought stuff from Australia plenty of times and I NEVER get anything in 10-12 days time...it's usually weeks, not days, before the item arrives.

That doesn't include anything that got "caught" in customs...

Well I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or not (kind of a waste of money and the other person's time) but that does allow me to at least put the delay into context.

It took about 7 business days for me to get my copy of Spider-Man from dvdcrave in Australia.

When you pull up Surpher's profile shows he was last logged onto AVS on 10/10.
