i can't see how with clive own blazing 2 guns shooting up everything in sight plus monica belluci this movie can bomb as bad as it did.

I had to check IMDb just to remind myself of what the heck this movie was. Looks like a rental for me.

Actually quite an enjoyable movie, though completely mindless. I'd watch it a couple more times, so it's a sale for me.

?? The movie title is almost as self-explanotory as Snakes on a Plane.

This was the most enjoyable movie I have seen in the movies in quite some time. Not only was it full of action throughout, it had great humor also.

I knew this movie wouldn't do well at the box office. I also knew that I'd be adding it to my collection whenever it came out. So New Year's Day it is.

I will definitely pick up Shoot Em Up as I thought it was very entertaining (for those of us who are able to turn off there brain for a couple hours).

i went and seen this movie in the theater. it was great. one of the more memorable parts was in the beginning when he severs the umbilical cord with a bullet, and the big neon sign they were shooting out to say stuff in the scene after. this is a great mindless movie (like crank) for those nights the caveman (or cavewoman) wants out for a couple hours lol.

When can I preorder. I loved this flick. Very violent. And that one line after the sex scene is a classic.

I just dont like that it was film with HD video. Detail on his leather jacket is insane though(saw it on a DLP).

All the rock and roll music and gunshots are going to sound awesome.

I also think Shoot 'Em Up is a great movie that delivers great action. In my opinion, Crank is absolute trash compared to this movie.

I agree. The Big Lebowski is a great example of this. Fantastic movie, but did very poorly in the box office.

I think I like the silhouette of him with the SMG's better but I would pick this up in a heartbeat! Dunno why it did so poorly. It was just as it was advertised. An over the top, action romp. It was fantastic! Great performances from everyone, especially Giamatti. Now I just need a Blu-ray player. :D

I think this is another 1.1 title. Most of the film is pretty cartoony so I wonder how good the gunshots sound. This movie has one of the greatest sex scenes ever. That line at the end is classic.

Horrible movie... I was excited about it until I watched it, realized it had a terrible plot.

Finally someone understands the movie. Clive Owen saves a baby again while he plays Bugs Bunny with guns. Everything is so over the top that it's hilarious.

I mean the guy manages to fire like 4 rounds of ammuntion without using a gun(This actually happens in the movie). Then there's the birthing scene, the car chase, the sky diving, the carousel thing, and the sex scene. It's ment to be a cartoon.

This is one of the few pieces of mindless cinema I like. You know to turn your brain off from the opening scene, best use of a carrot ever.

That being said I wouldnt pay $30 for it. Anything less is acceptable. Just make sure you realize the movie is outrageous on purpose.

To me it was trying to rip off Crank, with it's over the top style, but did a horrible job of doing so. I enjoyed Crank far better.

I have noticed that Meijers seems to be getting newer titles in stock, wheras over the summer/fall it was always the same old movies on the shelf.

I really enjoyed this film as well it did what it was ment to be way way over the top.. Its just how it is.

I went looking for it last night but no luck. It looks like I'll have to wait a few days. The movie is a really good time. Completely ridiculous in a good way.

The DVD got 4.5 stars for both PQ and AQ (http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=31818), so this BD ought to be awesome.

The blu ray is awesome, and I was so caught up "in" the film, as it was progressing, I could only pay attention to what was going on. Great aural and visual experience.

Sensational film, doing what "good" movies do best...capturing your interest to the point, which you are completely surrendering to what is being presented in front of you. Before you know it, it's over, and too soon.
