The pre-order price for Transformers for the last month has been $34.99.....well, the cost for the 2-disc HD DVD is now $29.99!! Sweet!

And on a side note, gotta LOVE the AVC video as my 8600GTS absolutely slays AVC.....like 8% CPU useage! :)

The ATI 2400 and 2600 cards kill AVC too, as well as VC-1. Hopefully all cards moving forward will offer HW acceleration.

Favelle , I tried doing just that but the system just would the not allow me to select the "pick up at store" option. I would love to order now to secure the price but I don't want to wait for shipping. If there is a way around this problem I would love to know about it.

Yeah, they won't let you preorder with a "pick up at store" option... However you can always buy it on Tuesday morning at 10:00 or whatever and select "pick up at store" if you're worried about it being sold out.

I'm paying with a FS giftcard, so I'll probably just go down and "risk it". I'm done class at 11:30 in the morning, and with the HD market so small, I doubt they'll have sold out by then.
