It says 1-2 weeks to ship...but at least its there! I posted a link before but it didnt work so to get it, do this:

- Go to Amazon.com
- Search for "the fly blu ray"
- The 4th item returned in the search is the movie, there is no picture yet.

I just ordered my copy. :)

Good find there. I was actually searching for it earlier in the week, but just said it will probably show up soon or next year. Glad they are finally getting it in and will place an order.

$27.95 for this is absurd.

Fox executives need to get puked on by Brundlefly.

Good codec, lossless audio, tons of extras. Hell, it seems like one of the few Fox BDs actually worth the price.

Well I'll be damned. Amazon finally woke up! They've even got the 10% discount included from the getgo. Thanks for the heads up OP.

Agreed. Considering how loaded this disc is and how good the transfer/sound are, $27 seems reasonable.

Just watched "The Fly" (1080p24 via RS1 to 106"screen) I wasn't blown away - but it's certainly the best it's ever looked on Home Video (I have both DVD editions and the Laserdisc) Like Robocop and The Road Warrior - I guess you just can't expect a lot of "pop" from these 1980's titles. But it was fun watching it again! (as they just don't make em like this anymore!)

Good notes.... yeah, some of those older titles just arent gonna "kick" like the newer ones but like you said.... Best its ever looked on home video.

I'm good with that too. I hope the studios increase their release rate on catalog titles.
