I am having a prolem playing this disc. Each time I try to play it keeps turning off. Its like the HDMI connection isn't working after awhile. I've tried two Samsungs and two surf's up bluray discs. Each time their is a problem. Anyone experience the same thing? I have downloaded the new firmware for the Samsung. My receiver shows TruHD when playing.
Equipment:
Samsung 1080P DLP
Integra 9.8
Emotiva MPS-1
Samsung 1400
Toshiba A35
Xbox 360 Elite
D*HR20
Thanks,
M1

I have the 1400 and the Integra 9.8 and it is doing the same thing.
The load up time at the beginning of the disc was considerably slower than on my PS3. Then after about 5 minutes into the movie, the screen just went black. Display showed that the player was still reading the disc, just no video output.

What do you think is the cause? Is it the Samsung or the Integra? Other movies play fine...Glad I'm not the only one.:(

I had bought the 1400 earlier but I returned it due to the horrible audio/video stuttering on just about every BD/DVD that I played.
Totally unacceptable!

I haven't tried to trouble shoot it yet. Try playing the movie with the HDMI hooked up direct to your display.
Sorry, I am at work....

It's becoming increasingly clear that you need a PS3 if you want to play BD titles without worrying if they will work or not.
It looks like the BDA is hanging Samsung out to dry. I guess that is what they get for breaking rank and going neutral.

I have the 1400 and Surf's up but have not had the time to watch it.
I really hope that it works. I heard that this is a decent movie when you consider that it is for kids.
