I'm about to pull my hair out. I had my Xbox 360 streaming music no problems before but now it doesn't work. I tried 3 different media sharing programs (WMP11, Zune, Tversity) and they all do about the same thing. They see the Xbox 360 and start the sever. But when i try and get it to load on my 360 it says it cant find any sever running. I can connect to live so im not sure where the problem is. My ps3 will list the sever but wont play any media. So i think its on the computers side? please help :(

It has to be on the PC side; there's nothing you can do on the 360 side to keep it from working. ;-)
Have you checked your firewall settings?
Most importantly, do you have more than one firewall running?
A common problem is that 3rd party security software doesn't always managed the windows built-in firewall so you think you have the proper ports open but they're not if you have back to back firewalls.
Ditto for any hardware firewall in the router.
You may also want to uninstall all the various server apps and go with just one.

I had this problem once before. I removed the existing shared connection from both my PC and Xbox and then added it again.
