i just connected my sony bdp-s1 player with my sony vw-50 with component video & hdmi. i get a picture with component but am not able 2 get any picture with hdmi.

i am using a gefen extreme fiber optic cable 50ft in length.

the BR player shows HDMI & HD in the front panel when the hdmi fiber optic cable is connected but no picture can be seen.

how do i check whether the cable is faulty or not??????
or
are there any settings 2 b changed in the BR player & vw50 projector.

Make sure your transmitter and receiver are installed properly and not reversed.
