My wife is more than likely going to get me an elite Holiday Bundle at some point, but my question is what do you expect the price or deals to be during this holiday season? Expect the price to be less, or perhaps something free at a B&M store?

Buy.com is already selling the preorder for $435 shipped, but I've been resisting it..

I would guess you will be able to grab one for around 399 from somewhere on Black Friday...

I dont know how much you want to hunt down the price.. but $435 shipped (and no taxes) for the Holiday Bundle is an excellent price point.. especially considering most of us paid $479.. no bundled games.. and paid taxes and shipping on top of that.. just months ago.. (basically $500).

You gotta ask yourself.. is it really worth waiting another 6 weeks just to save 20 or 30 bucks off the system?

Well I ended up doing the preorder for the Elite Holiday Bundle from Buy.com using the 5% (max $15 off) coupon for a total of $434.99 shipped. Ships 10/23 and free shipping is 7-9 business days..

So now to decide on the games I want to get.

Halo 3
Gears of War
Bioshock

Any others? Also any recommendations on what to do with the games in the Holiday bundle? I already have Marvel on the PS3 and I'm not into racing games.

Poolrad.. great decision man. Like I said the waiting another 6 weeks to save 20-30 bucks doesnt make much sense for something you can have now.

Anyways.. Definitely those 3 titles are the top ones. You definitely want to take alot at COD4, Mass Effect and probably Assassain's Creed. Also hit up Blockbuster and rent a few older titles that are highly rated.

The games in the bundle you arent interested in. You can either try returning to Walmart, etc.. or selling new in the plastic on Craigslist or Ebay. Either way you should get $30+ for Marvel.. and $40+ for Forza NIB.

The free games could be one of those dual game discs, like they did for the original xbox where they included NCAA Football and Top Spin Tennis on one disc. Trying to return that to Walmart wouldn't work. And of course, selling it on ebay would net you 5 bucks. LOL, If that much.
