I hate halo 3 for what it is not a good game, but for some odd reason I went over my friends place he had some drinks over there a halo 3 drink (im thinking in my head OMFG how stupid) I decied to take a sip of it not bad I say and so they are playing Galo 3 of course I told them can I play. All of a sudden 3 hour passes by and 3 Halo 3 drinks later im stuck over at his house. I leave and go buy the Halo 3 mountain dew drink on top of that (I must of been high) I buy fckin Halo 3 360 console for 400 dollars and a fckin Halo 3 game. :mad::rolleyes:I take it home and played with it and again OMFG I played it for 30 hours straight and I almost finished 3 case of Halo 3 mountain dew drink I bought 10 of them and im down to 7 now. IN this meantime I beat the game within this time period with another Halo 3 drinker online it took us 15 hours and we spent another 3 hours playing matchmaking. Is something wrong with me or is the Halo drink making me like halo :cool:

Nothing special here.. you just gave a great game a real chance.. The Dew had nothing to do with it.. the enviroment had everything to do with it. Alot of people hate Halo without ever giving it a real chance.. some without ever even playing the game. I'm not sure how true your story is.. but I can say the following is absolutely true.

I was the exact same way in 2001. I owned the original Halo for almost a year and never cared to play it. (I bought my first Xbox used and it came with 4 games). I tried it once and hated the control scheme and found it frustrating and nothing special.

But then I.. like you.. played it months later.. summer of 2002.. this time around at another friends house, with a bunch of friends (and NO Halo Mt. Dew of course, but plenty of beer). And had probably the most fun I had EVER had playing a videogame. We played about 14 hours straight. There was about 7 of us.. and eventhough we switched players regularly.. with only one xbox and 4 controllers.. the other 3 people sitting out were always begging to play.

Needless to say I've been hooked ever since. Recently just did the same thing in the Bronx the week Halo3 launched. And the game is just as fun and addicting as ever. Except it was 15 people playing on 3 xboxs (12 controllers).

The best advertising Halo3 can ever have.. is getting a large group of guys together and watching them go at it. I dont care who you are.. if you do get to participate in that.. you will walk away with a big azz smile on your face.

LOL thats true I only said it once not multiple times im still playing halo 3 right now with some dew I have left over I think im gonna go buy some more packs at target they have about 10 more cases left I plan to buy them out.
