No problem it's funny because I only found it because bestbuy.com wasn't working for me to order from. Decided to just see if it would work on Amazon and couldn't believe it worked with the 10 percent off too. Now i'm just trying to stop myself from making another order but i don't know Deja Vu and Glory Road are tempting me.

Weird. At first, only the discount shows in the checkout screen. Only after selecting "Group Items into Fewer Shipments" does the 10% kick in as well. Watch for it.

First off, I was talking about not buying a Blu-Ray PLAYER until I know it can handle all Blu-Ray can has to offer. I can buy the movies now at a great price. And if I never get a player, I can make a profit on Ebay.

Lookout/Enemy of the State. It was a toss up on the later for the Mel Gibson flick Apocalypto but i'm still not sure on that one.

I love Apocalypto - one of my favorite movies and it looks/sounds great in Blu-ray. I would buy it with this sale if I didn't already have it.

Just to see how much I would have saved if I ordered from AMAZON instead of Future Shop, I placed the same items in my cart and proceeded to checkout. Man I got ripped off at FS. I then added the other Disney titles that FS did not have in stock and the savings are substantial (I am now ordering eight titles instead). That's it I am going back to FS and returning my four titles. I am going to play stupid and say I didn't know Blu Ray would not play on my DVD player. Good thing I only opended one of them. We'll see.

Well, I picked up seven new disks between the Amazon Disney BOGO and the Frys Sony sale. Suffice to say, I feel stupid for recently paying normal price for a few titles that are now on sale. I can't get Dead Man's Chest to work either. It's listed as in stock but gives a later shipping date. Toggling the shipping options will then add the 10% Prime discount but not the discount for the movie. I did get Black Pearl and The Prestige for $19 though.

Lost Transformers but got 11 Blu-ray's for 120 bucks because we lost Transformers not a horible deal at all =P Such crazzy deals this week.

Considering the Deals are going on everywhere in the US and in Canada I'm sure it's Sony and Disney that are eating the costs or maybe not losing money just making nothing on each sale. Most likely this is to combat Transformers so i don't think it will be ending anywhere this week. Look at Fry's they ran out of stock on some of the Blu-rays and still are offering the deals you just have to wait for more to come in.

The best part about the Amazon deal is the 10% discount is applied before taking off full price of the free titles. So it's essentially BOGO + 20% off. Sweet deal.

I'm not getting ANY discount on these titles -- not even the 10% off.

Edit: Yep, it's a different warehouse thing. The BDs have to ship ON THE SAME DAY to get the discount. If one ships one day and other one ships a different day - no discount. Just a heads up.

To me at least it looks like the people not having there bogo and 10% applied, which is happening to me, it appears that some of your movies are shipping from different warehouses(it is being applied to movies shipping from the same warehouse but if you have a single movie shipping from another warehouse its not being applied). I suggest you put your order in and send an email to them asap and hopefully they fix it before it ships or they will credit your credit card within one or two days.

Have POTC2 and The Prestige. Not gonna get POTC1 til that head chopping thing is put right. Nothing else really looks all that good. Guess I will go to Frys BOGO for Underworld and A Few Good Men.

Awesome deal. Future Shop had this up as well but we Canadians lack anything form Miramax with Alliance Atlantis having the distribution rights up here and $30+ a title. Plus the dollar at par also helps. I'll be checking my finances and if all is good i think i will be picking up 4 movies

used to be the amazon sales chart had transformers, planet earth hd dvd at the top 2 spots with rest being blu-ray. the top 10 now only feature one title from hd dvd at the top thanks to the BOGO deal.

I ended up getting 4 movies.

I got the 10% 'early adopter discount' on the 4 titles, plus then the 50% mark down.

So the total for 4 was $38.22 iirc (all were $23.95 titles).

That is a great deal - so if you got in early and get that 10% off at Amazon, it is a super great deal for the BOGO.

Anyone else notice that the $23.95 titles got bumped up 50 cents to $24.45? Went out to dinner and came back to find the new price. I also noticed that Enemy of the State is not working for me as a BOGO. BOGO and 10% still works for most the others though.

wow! I'm returning my Fry's now...saving of $20....it comes out to be like less than $10 per movie! I tried this morning with Amazon..and it didn't work so that's why I headed to Fry's. Sorry Fry's....an extra $20 saving vs. Amazon = 2 more Blu-Ray movies in my collection :)

Why? Those $9.99 movies aren't part of the Amazon deal. The Fry's deal was Sony pictures. This is Disney. And you'd take back a $9.99 Blu Ray movie? :confused:

NOW, if this was the Circuit City BOGO, that might have made sense as they have Disney titles too. I guess the only way I'd come out cheaper is get the ones I had, get the 10% discount and already have Prime, and would skip the tax. I might do that! :D

Upon final checkout, the amount charged to you should reflect the discount. If I were you, I wouldn't wait to make the purchase. On amazon sales in the past, they have ended the sale within days without warning. My guess is that they have a special arrangement with the studio on a certain quantity of movies available for sale. Once that is depleted, they pull the plug. Again just a guess.

If you pay for shipping, your order gets processed and shipped out a lot faster.

I've had to wait up to a week for some of my orders to enter "shipping soon" stage.
