Let us know your first impressions and welcome aboard when you pick one up. Oh, don't forget Transformers which I'm sure you won't :D

Well...out of the seven I have, I gotta say Batman Begins is a good place to start...the picture is pretty much flawless on it. Also, Polar Express is also breathtaking. 300 is nice if you don't mind the intentional grain.

Anyway...there's my 2 cents.

I was kinda disappointed with Batman begins, sure it looks good, but it doesn't pop like some of the other movies do. I'm sure it looks as good as it did in the theaters, but don't get to hyped up, sometimes you expect to much and aren't pleased
Oh if your into nature stuff, the planet earth is great on PQ, and as a bonus it'll put you to sleep in 1 hour guaranteed. Honestly it is good, but too much becomes a snorefest. I don't have to many but Hulk, MI3, Training Day, Chronicles of Riddick, Pitch Black all look great and worth the purchase. 300 looks good, but because of all the grain, it doesn't stand out as a Ooh Wow kind of movie.

Seabiscuit is also a great film, it looks incredible

Yes to what has been suggested above, but also add Grand Prix and Lucky Number Slevin.

We've also made a nice little list of some "must have" suggestions here - http://www.campaignhd.com/Must_Haves.html

Also, here are some great $13.50 buys at Fryes that will help build a library fast - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=921813

I just watched The chronicles of Riddick and it was great, I didn't really like the movie but HD-DVD actually made it great and I loved the added scenes. But my dvd player froze once during the movie

I watched Slevin (again) on my PJ last night and I swear I get dizzier and dizzier from that wallpaper every time I watch the flick :) Awesome flick and great PQ

I would second going to get in on the deal going with frys.com right now. Great deals on some great flicks in there (which sadly I already owned 98% of)

slevin looks good and is a greatly under-rated movie to boot.

You could wander back to the dvd section and grab the Best of HD Dvd sets which most Costco's seem to have on hand these days. Don't forget to grab the 5 free HD DVD offer as well. Search some of the other threads on here, there are many suggetions.
Grab Transformers when it comes out this week.

Tuesday but if you cannot wait King Kong has some of the best shots I have seen even though the movie is a bit boring, but it would be the matrix for me. hands down.

My vote would be A Scanner Darkly. Awesome PQ.
