View Full Version : Best B&M Deal on Transformers?
mflanagan 10-15-07, 12:11 PM For those of us who haven't ordered online, we will most likely want to pick it up locally. Certainly this will be this seasons 'Must Have' movie for alot of people so you know retailers will be vying for your Dollar. So which B&M Stores will have the best deal tomorrow?
headband 10-15-07, 12:20 PM most likely wal-mart
jus10 said 10-15-07, 12:21 PM frys is 26.99
VXXJesterXXV 10-15-07, 12:24 PM Best Buy or Circuit City. I don't know if I want the lithograph or the hat.
most likely wal-mart
I agree. If they have it. Not a big selection at my local WM, but all discs are usually $5 cheaper than BB or CC.
tokeydog 10-15-07, 02:04 PM What hat? Where?
Toeside 10-15-07, 02:10 PM Best Buy, Target, and Circuit City all had it listed in their Sunday ad for $29.99.
I don't remember seeing a Walmart ad this week. I guess I missed it.
edit: Walmart.com is showing $27.87
KUJayhawk20659 10-15-07, 02:25 PM I am going for the lithograph. Two bucks more then Wal-mart is worth it for me.

jlkeeton 10-15-07, 03:22 PM Might be CC if it rings up 15$ with another movie during the "BOGO" unadvertised special - if it lasts until tomorrow, that is. Unfortunately, none of the 29.99$ titles I tried today worked, so I'm not going to bother driving 9 miles to a CC just to possibly save 15$.
dangerdavedsp 10-15-07, 04:10 PM do you guys think walmart or any other store will have it tonight at midnight?

Wal Mart will. Where else can you get Transformers HD DVD, some new underwear, a hammer, toilet plunger and a frozen pizza at 12:05 in the morning?
24hour Supercenters FTW!
dangerdavedsp 10-15-07, 04:28 PM yeah but most walmarts around me anyway dont even carry hd or blue ray

Starting on October 16th they will. If they have a "new release" music endcap anyway. All those endcaps are changing to HD media ends tomorrow.
COACH2369 10-15-07, 07:25 PM I have noticed that several Wal-Marts near me have been getting in new release BD and HD-DVD's in without actually having a section dedicated to it.
I have picked up "We are Marshall" a few weeks ago for $25.99...
The Wal-Mart right next to my office will have Transformers tomorrow morning for $26.99 according to the electronic's manager....
It is the location on Mason Montgomery Rd...

I called the WM here in Katy TX and they said they start stocking the new releases at 5 am. I'll stop there ont the way to work to get one if they have it.

Target in my area is 29.99. You cant look at the online price, you have to look at the weekend flier for your location.
danieloneil01 10-15-07, 11:04 PM Stupid question
Will it be available tomorrow or only if your lucky enough to find a store that got their shipment in?

I hope they don't do a 300 HD DVD again.
Favelle 10-15-07, 11:45 PM The Walmart.ca (Canadian website) now has HD DVD's listed in the movies section!!! No prices or anything, but this is a first.

Just bought it at B&M Walmart for 29.87.
Also, this Walmart received 1 and only 1 HD DVD copy.
