I am looking at getting the Pioneer 5010 plasma. I don't want to use the bottom speaker because I am in a small space and the overall height will be too high. My idea was not to use the bottom speaker and lower the plasma on the stand and the height should then be perfect. My question is .....I wanted to use a couple of wall mount cube bose speakers instead of the included pio speaker. I just want these to substitute for the tv speaker. Turn on the TV for a half hour and I have ok sound. Should these Bose be ok or do the job?

Thanks

Jerome

I'm not sure you can lower this display on its stand without some cutting and fabrication. You can't on the 6010.

Any standard 8 ohm speaker will work. If the speakers sounds good to you in the showroom, there should be nothing the 5010 does to change the sound quality. Working OK for you is subjective.
