I'm trying to find an satellite receiver with HD-SDI out. It is 45' from my sat receiver to my scaler and pj via a soffit with three 90 degree turns and I would prefer not to have to drag an hdmi cable through it.

My random googling turned up the following SFX Pro Video sat receivers. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure what they do :o . They have HD-SDI out. If I connect one to a new DVDO VP50Pro scaler with HD-SDI in will it work? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Video Outputs: HD-SDI, SD-SDI
HDMI
Composite (NTSC or Pal)

Inputs: Satellite
