First, sorry for my english. I bought the Iamm NTD37HD by Novatron. I think with this mediaplayer I can see the MKV files, but it don´t support. In the official service say me in a few days is end a new firmware. What is the homepage for this model of Iamm. In the 3w.iamm.com.tw only have the Iamm NTD36HD by Novatron. Hi, mkv container should be supported with the new firmware, which should be already available in the middle of October. But the firmware is not available yet :/ On Novatron website is nothing about ntd37hd, so you have to contact your local reseller (the same way as i do :) I had send an email to them on this evening, maybe it will be clearer during following days. cu

Novatron is busy with a big buyer and forgets about their own products in
the next 1.5 / 2 months to keep the "big" client. hence the reason why no
firmware is available or the web site is outdated... The kind of stopped the
IAMM NTD37HD for a while... still selling, no support however since all their
resources are going to fishy big fish... (verified by internal source)

You want to say that a new firmware will not go out shortly with the support MKV as they say. I have spoken with my local seller and he(she) has said to me that shortly they were going to update the web and that they were employed at the new firmware. To seeing if you can confirm to me this, because but change the NTD37HD and I buy myself someone of that they are working out new.

I have no further information.
I only know i receive loads of complaiants that Novatron is not responding to
any inquiries and customers and our research revealed that they are busy
with something else than their products for the moment...

Even temp, this is still bad...
I'm not recommending Novatron. Doesn't mean they never will deliver,
just me never recommend them because of their lack of communications
and concentration on other things than the core business of media players...

Hello, I have written to a direction of e-mail that there has given me my seller in Spain, Novatron. Simpson [yun@iamm.co.kr]. I wrote to him on Wednesday, the 31st of October and nobody has answered. I believe that they do the same case to mail, that the one that they do to the mail of the web.
I believe that we are in our right to complain for the poco support that they are giving to the NTD37HD. You see Tvix 4100/5100 and the Tomacro and other marks, and it he gives me envy, since these companies work for improving your product.
I would like that you were sending someone of you an e-mail, just in case they did not understand my English, and you were writing to him.
I he asks him about the near(next) innovations I half-close the NTD37HD, if they are going to include it in the web, the support for MKV, next updates...

But please don't worry about that issue.

Our engineers have focused on releasing the new firmware and we know MKV support is an important point to sell NTD-37.

It simply comes down to not making promises if you tend to be side tracked if some big partner offers you money and then neglect the
ones that gace you their money before... Further, I don't see the Novatron being a success though i like the first unit very much, the
brand has severily disspointed me a few times in a row now being unstable and lack customer focus...

Hi guys,
anybody know if there are issues with the NTD37 and Windows Vista. i bought one recently and have had nothing but problems. The iamm is picked up by my pc and i have formatted my HD it even allows me to copy stuff onto the HD but when i plug it into my tv i get nothing in any of the folders other than a shared folder empty message??? Any help would be much appreciated,

I have the NTD37HD but when I plug my HDMI cable with my TV the device doesn't recognize the signal as HDMI and go to composite/S-Video. When I click the Video Out after the composite/S-Video->Component it will go directly to composite-S-Video again.

Even if I connect the device to composite, then change in the setup to HDMI AUTO and restart again whil connection my HDMI cable, the device change automatically to composite or components again.

Do you have any idea how to select HDMI output?

I have the very same problem as Nam after upgrading to 112.
Can only switch from Composite to Component.
HDMI cannot be activated.
Also MKV won't play at all.

I have updated my NTD37HD HDMI version with the latest firmware 115.

The package I downloaded from station-drivers or from the Cezch web site did not work. So I had to extract the romfs.bin from the package and execute the procedure with my PC running tftp. So much sweat for simple things.

HDMI output still does not work.
Composite and Component work.
MKV files cannot be played.
However now I can play my divx...

Is this box a pure crap ??????????

I have it with firmware 118 and it plays mkv. I've connected it with an hdmi-dvi cable (tv only has dvi) and it works fine. The firmware needs a polishing, but it works.
