Can anyone tell me if the tweeters used in the Aerial SR3 surround speakers are the same tweeters found in the rest of the Aerial line, specifically the LR5.

Based on the specs on the Aerial site, the tweeters seem to be the same as the rest of the Aerial line, but in the picture of the SR3 they look different.

Just want to be sure they are the best match for my 3 LR5 fronts.

They do spec out the same, and they do look different. I've got the CC5 (same as the LR5, just different setup) and the SR3's and although the casing looks different they appear to be the same inside. I'm very pleased with the match in my system (but I'm using 20T's for the L/R).

Thanks Jim. Good to hear from an Aerial owner with the flagship 20T.

I would consider just using LR5s all around, but reading past comments by Dennis Erskine and others has me convinced that dipole surrounds should be used in most home theaters intended primarily for movies.
