I just got a Harmony 1000, I can't get my computer (Mac) to recognize it.

I installed the battery, it goes straight to demo mode and doesn't turn off. I put it on the charger, it stays in demo mode, doesn't turn off. I plug it into the computer, remote software doesn't see it, Harmony stays in demo mode.

Any ideas?

I use a Harmony 880 with this computer just fine.

try it again with all you anti virus and fire walls disabled,try different (lower) security settings in your browser.

mac, no firewall, a/v, or browser security :)

i guess i'll give logitech a call.

Well Logitech doesn't do after hours support apparently, but I found the solution.
