Hi,

I'm using DVD assist on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.10

I'm trying to get Front Row to play VIDEO_TS files.

I'm following the directions, but when I try to play the movies in Front Row, the film leader plays (the standard countdown), then the screen goes black for a short time, then it returns to the movie selection list in Front Row. This happens with all the movies I've tried...

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you,

Rick

I think I remember this happening to me if I didn't have the DVD Assist app start up automatically by selecting it as a Login Item for my account in System Preferences... Also, be sure your ripped DVDs are in the MOVIES folder, and that a copy of "Start the Movie.mov" is in the DVD's video_ts folder. Good luck!!!

Thanks for your help grubavs and chefklc...

I managed to get the problem solved. grubavs, your info proved to solve the problem by having the appl running in the background at all times and having it as a login item.

Thank you!
