I think I am getting close to having to change the bulb in my kdf60wf655.

I currently have over 5900 hours on the bulb over almost a three year period. The picture is starting to dim a bit.

Wondering if I can buy a bulb unit and change it myself. It is relatively easy to do? Are there instructions somewhere?

Also where can I find a bulb / unit model #?

Sony parts might be a good place to look. The instructions should be in your manual. Also you might try a Google search putting in your model number and the word lamp or bulb.
