I read from this forum, if i install the HD DVR receiver (HR20?) that i need to plug in some BBC to get the new HD channels coming.

what if i install the HD receiver without DVR that is? do i still need to install some sort of connector to get the new 100000000 new HD channels

If you have the new slimline or 5lnb dish with an HR20 or H20, you'll need the bbc to receive the new HD (mpeg4) channels. If you have the older 3 lnb dish you will not receive the new channels with the new receivers.

The B band converter comes with the receiver. DVRs have two and non DVRs have one.
