Is there not room on the sides for two half curtains? Deane Johnson 10-24-07, 08:38 AM If you want to use a curtain, you should probably think of drawing them from the sides in a conventional manner with a motorized rod. If you want something to come down from the top, you should probably use a shade such as a roller shade or a honeycomb. Both can be motorized and be opaque. pameredith 10-24-07, 09:37 AM Thanks So where can I get a motorized rod? I like that idea. Probably around $1200 for the rod. A stop down is the BTX Motordrape at around $700. Also, the Makita is around the same price. The BTX Motordrape can also be a DIY but it's tricky to install. Be sure you know how you're going to handle the interface to your central remote if you have one, as each is different. If you're just going to use a supplied hand sender, there's not much of an issue. |
