Moved the Television across town today. The wind from the fires in San Diego blew something into the back of my truck and cracked the screen.

Called the place I bought it from and they said the part is no longer available, being that the television is near 10 years old.

Any ideas on where to get a new screen? or if I have any options at all.

I've read all the posts about moving tvs (doh), and what I could find about actually replacing the screen once I found one, but I am at a loss on where to find old, no longer in production television parts. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Have you contacted Mits parts directly?
Frankly, with a 10 year old CRT RPTV, I would write it off.

Contact anyplace that rents big screen tvs. They should have generic sheets of lenticular material that can be cut to size to fit your tv. If they have the dual-layer material (fresnel lens included) go ahead and replace both screens but cut it down from all 4 sides so the center of the original sheet is still the center of your cut-down sheet.

I would question a 'one size fits all' type of generic screen(s) replacement. I really doubt that all screens are created equal.

Question all you wish, however the $50 sheet of dual-layer material I got at the rental store was, after centered cutting, in every way the equal of the sheet Mitsubishi wanted almost $300 for and rescued a disply which had been very good to me for over 12 years.

Who cut the sheet?

Lucky it didn't break.
It's one thing doing that to small pieces of plexiglass, but for something as large as a screen, I wouldn't even attempt it myself.
