Hi there. I would like to ask you guys couple questions. I am thinking about getting direct tv and I want the best quality in every equipment.

I current own the hdmi 16bit 1.3a cable, I just ordered the highest quality coax cable which is 4.5 GHz. I will wait for the HR21 Pro which will have 1080P, I know which plasma I want.

So now my question is about the dish/lnd/switch. I know there are 2 different types of 5 lnd dish, the newer one is the slimline 5 lnd.

1) Which one is the best quality for hd and etc?
2) Are there other dishes that people use and are they higher quality in any way?
3) Are there different quality lnd? If yes, which ones are the best quality?
4) Is there different quality switches? If so which one is best?
5) If there is no other dish other then the current 2 5 lnd dish's, don't they have built-in lnd/switch? If so, how are the quality of these and can they be changed

I am sorry, but I am a newbie and would like to know. I appreciate if the pros can help me out!

Many thanks

First off the pro H21 isn't going to be 1080p, that was incorrect info. Second, an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable, as long as the 0's and 1's get from point A to point B, the PQ will always be the same.

1) Doesn't matter
2) No
3) It's LNB, not LND and no.
4) No
5) They have built in switches and no they can't be changed nor would it make a difference in PQ if you could.

The signal coming down is digital, you don't need high end or special equipment to get it to the receiver and any decent RG-6 xoax will work to connect your dish to your receivers.

When dealing with digital feeds in general, you don't need to go crazy on high end cables unless you enjoy throwing your money away.
