My friend is about to go out and get a PS3 and I was wondering if there are any deals going on right now like when Amazon threw in the 2 extra blu-rays for buying a PS3.

I actually went for this deal last night. 60GB PS3, blu ray remote control (for movies) and I picked resistance as the game. On line only and shipping was only $12.57. Not bad considering the size/weight of the PS3. I expect delivery between this Friday and next Tuesday. I have also printed out my 5 free blu ray disk form and am ready to send it in once I have the UPC and the packing slip. Can't wait.

theres a couple of deals here in Canada for anyone who cares and resides in Canada. Dell has NHL 08 + 80GB PS3 for 499, and/or a second Sixaxis for 499. Futureshop is selling the 80GB + Enchanted Arms & Collectors case & Keyboard for 499. i think Walmart includes the blu-ray remote... i don't remember all of the deals, but it seems like almost every store here has some kind of bundle.

You don't state which ps3 model you friend wishes to purchase..but keep in mind the 40gb model comes out this week for $399.00.

Edit: I forgot, but it also comes with Spiderman 3.
