Forget LEDs. This is the future ..... ?

At 50% efficiency it should be easy to cool. It sounds like its brighter than LEDs and it certainly seems to last longer than our present UHP lamps.

One of the incandescent manufacturers will just buy out the researchers/patents, and that's the last you'll ever hear about this. The light bulb industry is a bigger conspiracy favorite than Area 51.
