What is the longest run you should make to a powered sub-woofer with RCA CL2 Rated Cable - RG6/U 75ohm S/PDIF?
Also can the cable be cut to size & reterminated without the use of special tools?

I don't know what the limit is, but I doubt seriously you'd be ANYWHERE near it.

No, you need some tools, but they are not so 'special'. If you don't want to buy the tools, you can use a fixed length of CATV cabling that has 'F' connectors on the ends and can easily buy some 'female F-to-male RCA' adapters for the ends. This will work just fine for subwoofer (or any other) cable.
if the cable is THX certified, you can run it as long as you want

C'mon. Don't mislead him into thinking he needs 'THX certified' in-wall cabling. 'THX certified' or not, he is most likely nowhere near the limit.
'THX certified' cable has a limit, too, btw, and it's probably not any different than it is for non-THX-certified cable. RG6 is RG6. There is nothing 'special' about 'THX-certified' cable that allows it to be used for longer lengths. It just happens to be 'THX-certifed'.

Didn't take long. Google can be your friend.

Thanks for the input.
I have a 33ft run plug to plug including some slack to get to the back of the units.
Most of the ready made stuff I have seen at monoprice etc is either 25 or 50 feet. Was trying to decide if I should shorten a 50 footer or just coil it up in the crawlspace.

33ft is no problem at all. I've had a 50ft. run of CATV RG59 with no problems. I simply used F-to-RCA adapters on the ends. There will be no benefit, other than tidyness, by shortening it from 50ft to 33ft..

OK - Thanks all ordered the 50 ft one from Monoprice.
