I connected a new Dish 722 receiver via HDMI to my TV and had no audio.
The HDMI audio had worked prior to hooking up the 722.
I connected it to anoter set via HDMI and had no audio.
This TV also had working HDMI audio before connecting the 722.
I then tried a dvd player on both sets via HDMI and no audio.
The DVD HDMI audio does still work on a third TV that has not had the 722 connected to it.
I think the 722 has actually damaged my HDMI audio on both TV sets?
I have tried different cables and powering off TV and receiver to try and renegotiate handshake between devices. No luck.
Dish is sending another 722 but now I have two sets without hdmi audio capability.
Has anyone else had or heard of this problem?
