For fabric, I would go with an upholstery stapler. I think the stapler you linked uses really narrow staples (like 1/4"), which are usually used for finish work, and are probably too narrow for fabric. Upholstery staples are wider and hold the fabric better (you don't want waves).
I have used my Porter Cable US58 Upholstery Stapler (http://www.acetoolonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=POR-US58) to recover my pool table, attach the fabric to my screen and screen border, and for building fabric frames. Likely my most used air tool.
