Hello to AVS. First post. I have DirecTV and installed a Terrestrial Digital LaCrosse antenna a couple weeks ago. Great signal from local PBS (90%). Suddenly I have no signal, at all. I checked connections, orientation, etc. Nothing has changed! No lightning strikes, nothing. I know it's not the station because I have friends nearby who are still picking it up fine.

Can an antenna suddenly stop working? Doesn't make sense to me. Could it be a DirecTV tuner issue? Strange that it would affect all 3 tuners I have. I am quite puzzled. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Have you done a re-scan? The PSIP data for the station may have been messed up. Can you tune directly to the actual digital broadcast channel for the station?

Check all the wire connections from the antenna back down to the TV. You stated you have three tuners. Are these all OTA digital tuners? Do you have any splitters in the line? Take out all splitters and run direct to one tv to see if you have signal. There is normally nothing on an antenna to break. You may get corrosion on the elements but there is no electronic component on the antenna itself.

It sounds like your antenna connection is open somewhere. Run a wire directly from your antenna to your receiver and see if the signal comes back.
