I just got a JVC Sub10 from Harmanaudio and I am having problems with it. I have it turned on and pluged in to the LFE out from my AVR145. I can get very little sound and the power light on the back of the sub stays red it will not turn green. I have tried 3 other RCA cables and then tried the audio output from my TV to see if I have a problem with my AVR145 but that did not work. I tried to use the RCA left and right inputs on the sub but that did not work. I do have the AVR145 set to Left/Right LFE for the sub. I do get power but the led never goes to green and very little output from the sub. I did try and turn the sub to max but it does not help and I have the crossover set to its highest point.

Thanks for any ideas,
Mike J.

Go into your speaker setup menu on the avr and try adjusting the subwoofer volume in the receiver.

If I was in the right place in the menue I turned it all the way up and that is when I got a little sound out of it but very little and the light on the back still stayed red but it says it should turn green.

Ok I have to make sure can I use a regular RCA cable for the LFE out from the AVR145 to the Sub10 LFE input? The sub did not come with a cable so I used a RCA cable did this screw me up?
