Hi i'm thinking of buying avia 2 for standard definition,because i'm getting inpatiant to wait for the blu ray version.

Is it worth getting the blu ray version,i have a mits1000u with a samsung bluray player.I also have a hd reviever.

Also my second tv is a 46 lcd samsung with a sd dvd player.

Witch version should i buy and can i get good results with the first version of avia 2.

I was wondering the same thing. I called Avia and the said the BR version should be released for the late holiday season.

Well, if you still watch DVD, then having a calibration disc to align your DVD playback chain is important, in addition to any other HDDVD/BRD capabilites you may have. In other words, if you have both capabilities, you will want test discs for each playback chain.
