I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival as it will be my first PS3.... I went to Best Buy today and asked several people until I found an older employee who knew his stuff... He says Sony just ships the product and they don't have much notice at all when they will get them... Went to a local GameStop, got the same story...

Looks like no one really knows...

amazon is sold out of the first batch and not taking anymore preorders.

No but I saw a Walmart selling the 60 gig and the 80 gig for 499.
