I have a VTF3-MK3 in the corner of my living room. The problem with it is that it has to sit almost directly in the corner of the room and there probably isn't enough room behind the ports for them to "breathe" properly. Do you think by adding a turbo charger that it would eliminate this "boomy" bass that I am hearing? I don't have any sort of DSP to use on my sub yet... What do you think I should do or try? TIA

It doesn't take much room for the ports to breath. I suspect your boomy bass is a function of the room and the subs location. If you can't move the sub around, consider an EQ. For just over $100 you can get an outstanding solution.

OK, I have been looking around at some different eq options and for my price range, it appears that the BFD might be the best option. What do you think? The main problem I am having is that I don't know how to set everything up manually. Here is a list of what I am using:
Axiom M22, VP150, and QS8
HSU VTF3-MK3 w/o Turbo
H/K AVR 635
Oppo DVD
Comcast HD DVR Box (Motorola)
X-Box 360
Older Hitachi 51" Rear Projector (Still has a great picture:))
I used the H/K Auto-Setup to set everything up and it sounds pretty good to me. I would like to get an SPL meter and fine tune things a bit. I just need some help...
Anybody live near Jacksonville, FL and would like some nice fat filets and some home cooked sides?:D
