So I have an Acer XD1150 pj, that i bought from Staples, and it has about 1500 hours on it, and the warning came up that the lamp is nearing the end of its life. Searching on the web, I only seem to find places in the UK that sell the replacment bulb. Its part number EC.J3901.001. Is there somewhere i can find this in the US?

Im not sure if I am in the mood to upgrade. The acer projector really does suit my needs right now, as I dont have any HD sources, and the picture looks decent to me.

basically Im looking at $250 for a new lamp or $500+ for a new pj that i might not really need, you know?

only pj i have looked into other wise is the Evo from lumenlab.com, http://yhst-18925554572786.stores.yahoo.net/llpjevov1w2.html , just for the sheer fact the lamp replacments are only $30. Has anyone done testing comparing brightness of this projector vs a low end commercial model?
