If this is in the wrong section I apologize in advance. I am looking for ideas on what to put under my wall mount LCD. I don't need storage for my components because they are located in another room. (RF remote)

My goal was a clean look in the living room with just the TV and some sort of decorative furniture underneath. I was thinking something like a sofa table against the wall but I am not 100% sure. Any recommendations or resources to look at?

Thanks

Sofa table would be fine. Kinda depends on how big the room is and the size of the TV. You could always still put a credenza under it too and use it for storage.

I posted this earlier somewhere else, but I am so proud of my purchase, I'll risk posting it here too. I just bought this console (http://www.bernhardt.com/itemDetail.php?colltitle=Cooper&itemid=1340&collid=538) from Bernhardt to go under my plasma. I'm having to sit it on top for now, but soon to be mounted above.

in-wall speakers ? does the furniture need to blend with speakers of any kind ?

Immediately under mine is my center channel, and then there's exactly 32" between the bottom of that and the floor. This was by design to accomodate a standard height 27-30" "sofa table" (or, I think they're sometimes called "occasional tables", I don't really know since that's not my "department"). We haven't acquired said table yet, partly out of laziness and partly out of not having found the "right" one yet, but utimately that's the goal.

So, to answer your question, I'd put some sort of sofa table under there. Although, if you're like us, you'll not want it to be a cabinet-type; since you've gone through a great deal of time and effort to tuck the components away somewhere else, you don't want it to look like they're in the cabinet right under the TV!

Happy hunting!
