I'm planning on purchasing a Mitsubishi 65833 or 73833 soon. One of my concerns is the cost of future bulb replacement. It's my understanding the Mitsu has a 6 bulb system (which produces a fantastic picture). The thought of replacing 6 bulbs in the next 5 years or so at $150-$200 per bulb is unsettling.
Do you expect the price of DLP bulbs to decrease in the future?

It only has one bulb but the color wheel has six different colors.

the answer is no....... I bought my Benq PE7800 2 years ago and the bulb price is the same as it is now........... 400 bucks..... OUCH... and mine blew too, i need new tires on my car also so the theater is down for a bit :-(
