I got mine in the mail yesterday and have to say, this game is STUNNING. I'm amazed at what they're able to do with the PSP hardware. It looks so much like the PS2 games and runs smooth as butta. Plus they nailed the controls fairly well.

I'm kinda weary about dodging by holding both shoulder buttons, since it's a strain to grab both in the middle of combat, but it's not too offputting. Also, context specific actions with the O key don't always work. You have to be facing the object just right to get him to grab on.

Other than that, the game is simply amazing. HUGE scale, with so much happening on the screen, yet it still maintains a fluid framerate.

Anyone else get the demo?

Also waiting, and I've moved since putting in the request earlier in the year. I wonder if it'll ever get to me? I read it came with a $15 off PSP Slim coupon that I was planning on using to upgrade from my launch PSP.

I got my copy last Monday.

Unfortunately, I apparently got a bad copy as it freezes about 5 minutes into the gameplay and shuts the PSP down. :(

But, I played enough to know that the actual game will be awesome, I guess.

Luckily, I'm busy with R&C:TOD as of yesterday, and then I'm off to Belgium and Amsterdam for a couple of weeks on the 6th.

And wow does the PSP impress... It sure is a PS2 in the palm of your hand! This game will rock!

Yeah, it does come with that (and a cool little pendant to boot!). I'm thinking of upgrading, though I'm not sure it would be worth it. Haven't held one personally to notice any benefits from the slimming. The TV out is pretty worthless for me.
