In a financial report put out by Ubisoft, the company announced that, “As a result of the positive trends observed during the first half of the year as well as the positive outlook for the third quarter, Ubisoft has decided to postpone the release of certain games”.

I would be surprised if Assassin's Creed is pushed back to next year. With as much press as they've been getting/doing for that title (i.e., everyone feeling they have an intimate with Jade Raymond at this point), I just can't see it happening. AC could easily be one of the best selling holiday titles if not THE best next to Call of Duty 4.
I wouldn't be surprised if Haze delayed, however, due to the crowded shooter market, particularly the aforementioned title above.
And if AC is delayed, it has NOTHING to do with financials but is more of a coverup for the problems they said they were having a couple of weeks ago in regards to memory on the PS3 and storage on the 360. It's got far too much potential as a holiday blockbuster to delay it for any other reason, imo.

I pre ordered AC yesterday. I've had Haze on pre order for a while. Guess we'll see.
