I'll be upgrading my home theater set up over the next few months.
My room is 24'x26' with 12 foot ceilings. One large open room.
I'm looking for the right 7.1 speaker package for strictly home theater use and am considering the Atlantic Tech 8200 system which is a close out due to the upgraded 8200e.
Budget for speakers is $4000.
Lots of great DIY home theaters here and I'm interested to know what others have used and specifically hoping for input regarding Atlantic Tech. I haven't gotten much response on the speakers forum.
Thanks
Sean

I used that Atlantic Technology System 20s in my home theater. Not the models you were askign about, but the right maunfacturer! I was looking for good quality in-walls. I love them!!! I love how they sound, and I love that they take up no room in my theater. If I was truly daring I would paint them to match my wall colors.

Another great system that you should consider is the Klipsch THX Ultra II. You can put together a new 7 speaker system for around $4k (plus subs) if you know where to look. I've read some great things about the 8200 but have not heard the system.

Thanks for the input guys.
RobZ- Where can I find the Klipsch THX Ultra II for that price? I've found the system online, but the price was far higher than my $4K budget. I've read some great reviews of the Klipsch Ultra II, but I've never heard it myself and I'm pretty sure its not anywhere in town where I could audition it. But, if you could PM me a link in the right direction, I would be grateful!
Thank you.
