View Full Version : Manually assign channels to inputs in HDHomeRun

Here's my problem: I've got 2 in-house antennas for receiving OTA signals. Some of the channels come in better on antenna 1, whereas some other channels get better reception on the other one. The problem is, all stations do come in on both antennas, but with widely different signal strength. So, I'd like to tell the HDHomeRun to use PBS only from antenna1 (connected to input1), but ABC only from antenna2 (input2). Does anybody know how to do this in Eyetv? Am I missing something trivial here?
Many thanks in advance

Can you combine the antennas into one single line? I remember reading about a device that can filter out channels so that when you combine two antennas, you don't get interference problems. I think they were typically used when combining a VHF antenna with a UHF one.

Maybe you could use a filter on each antenna and block out the weak channels, then combine the two antennas. Theorectically, your single feed will now have the best signals from each antenna.
