I'm trying to find out if/how I can use the IR port on the back of my squeezebox to feed it in a mini jack IR input...from my Logitech RF Transmitter. Has anyone had any luck inputting IR signals to the Squeezebox? I have seen a bunch of plugins to configure it as an IR Out but it does seem to be programmable.

Bump...anyone have any thoughts of this? The jack says headphone/IR but there's notjing in the documentation.

I have an MGL Audio Laboratories Symphony amplifier that was designed to work with a squeezebox. They chose IR codes such that the Slim remote can be used to control both units. I plug an IR emitter into that IR out port. That might argue against programmability. BTW, it is a very nice sounding amp.
