Polk subs have never really been anything to write home about. Just looking at the overview of it I would assume this would be a good sub for music or light duty HT, but with a small box & not very powerful amp I wouldnt imagine this sub digging too deep for home theather.

I have a DSW600. It is a nice sub. You need to be mindful about setting it up with your particular amp.
The remote volume control is a nice feature.

Haven't heard it, but from what I'm told by some senior Polk guys, this sub will surprise people and will compete with subs in the ID world. Polk is going to be releasing more new models as well. It's not that I'm skeptical, I think it will meet or exceed it's design goals. It's just that for us hobbyists, there's so much out there in, granted, larger enclosures that should be very hard to compete with at their pricepoint. Room correction is a nice feature though.

Can you give us a little more detail about how you find it to be?
And how you set it?

I don't use one setting, I set it accoeding to the music I play. That is why I like the remote control. I also use a sound meter and compare it to what I hear.
