Hello,
I have a Samsung HL-T5676S and I am very pleased with the picture quality. There is a minor annoyance with the screen. When the TV is off, I can see an irregular band/shade/blotch around the periphery of the screen. I cannot see this band when there is a picture on the screen.
I called Samsung and they sent a service tech to look at it. The service tech thought it was a problem with warping of the TV frame and chassis. I also went to Best Buy and Sears to find that EVERY TV on display Samsung and Sony Rear Projection TV have this band around the periphery to a greater or lesser extent.
Does anyone else see this issue and think if it is a problem at all?
Thanks for your input.
