Sorry that I just cross posted this with the A/V distribution thread, but figured this was a more appropriate location:
Does anybody know how to modulate a Component or HDMI output (from some random device in my house) into an ATSC QAM signal and then combine it with my OTA antenna?
I am assuming the combining is trivial once I have a modulated QAM channel.
Right now, I use the ChannelVision CVT3 to modulate (SD) composite signals into UFH and combine with my OTA, but would like to HD'ize my setup.
I love the idea of using the tuners that my TVs all have (as well as no funky remote setup) to be able to "tune to channel 38 to see what is playing on the 'whole hosue DVD player'".
Thanks in advance.
