Hi

I just picked up an AKAI 55" RPTV. It has a problem with the green CRT. It appears to either have a burn in the screen, or something on the screen. Anyhow, I took the focus lens off, and then did something stupid. I took the inner concave lens off. The way the gun is mounted, when I removed the inner lens, a fair amount of liquid spilled out. I am assuming it is some kind of oil. Can anyone tell me what I need to replace it?

You have a new set under warranty but decided to tear it apart??? OUCH...tough lesson there!! :)

You'll probably never find the correct parts locally or even online...

I'd call a tech to come out to look it over...sadly though it will cost ya more than the tv is worth I'd bet.
