In my gold box under Jay's quick picks was the Star Trek HD-DVD season 1,
the price was 126 and some change $113 after the 10% discount, I know everybody's gold box is different but thought I would give you guys a heads up.

It was in mine too a day or two ago. I commented on it in the main TOS thread.

I keep hoping it will pop up in mine, so I've been browsing Star Trek stuff on their site since mine seems to reflect the items that I view.

It's Amazon's gold box offer, varies from acct to acct. Last week mine was 2001 HD DVD for $17.65 or something. I grabbed it.

I thought the gold box offered a lower price than normal and then the OP applied another 10% off ...........

It was a promotion amazon ran last year. You bought 3 HDM titles in one order, and you got 10% off all HDM orders for the next year. It was later extended through the end of 2007. Hopefully they'll extend it again.

Saw this thread and headed over Amazon to check it out. Didn't see Star Trek, but Harry Potter boxset was. Grabbed it for $89.20 after 10% discount. :)

My gold box only had RV in SD in it :/ I wish amazon would realize that I only buy HD DVDs from them

No Star Trek, but the 5 disc Blade Runner set was in there at an extra dollar off...combined with my 10% discount it was about the same price as the Warner 25% off order that I cancelled due to their inept service. Awesome.

Same here. Not even a sniff of anything HD, ever. I think amazon has mistaken me for........my spouse.:p

Farberware 10-Piece Cookware Set is all that's in mine. Pretty good price, and I could use it but I think Farberware is made in China now, so I'll have to pass on it.

Mine is essentially all hd-dvd or blu-ray. The only two things in there that aren't are DVDs. I just ordered Superbad for $28.45, but I'm not sure I'll actually go through with that one since even with a discount its still rediculously expensive. I'm still hoping I'll get the Die Hard or Spiderman Box sets in here soonish. I've already got the Die Hard set on order so that might be hurting my chances on that one.
