I found an out of box HD-A2 for $249. Remembering the $125 purchase story I read here, I asked them the final price and mentioned that I can get a brand new one at Wal-Mart for 199. They went and looked it up and, of course, it was $279 on the WM website. Dropped by the WM down the street and they have zero HDM. I did pick up a few $5 movies and a few $4 movies in SD though.

For anyone interested, the Simi Valley BB has the Sony 1200? for $179, and a few other BD players, the LG DF player and a few HD DVD players all out of box for sale.

Should have told them to look up Circuit City on-line for the HD-A2. Right now it's $197.99 on their site as well.

Wal-Mart specifically stated in their PR that the $198 A2W would ONLY be an in store special . . . and that it would not appear on line at that price but at the higher price ($279) which you saw.

See, you can never trust the hype on these pages! :D
