checking out f. projectors...I live north new jersey...I was at a place in tenafly...place called saga electronics...and 6 th ave on route 4 in paramus...do you know another place where I could look in my area?....thanks...those to places i wasn't to impressed with the way they looked...washed out and the colors did'nt pop and they where high end models from sony sharp and runco in perfect theater rooms....thanks

You can try Harvey Electronics on RT 17 in Paramus. It is just after Home Depot on 17 North. Near Paramus Park.

I live in Manhattan and haven't been impressed by many of the stores in the area. I have not visited yet, but after speaking with Audio Doctor for nearly an hour on the phone (Google them) I was very impressed with their level of service. They may not be the cheapest but I say it never hurts to talk.

For this part of the area though you can always deal with AV Science as well. It's going to be a tough decision when I have to make my final decision in a month or so!

Sorry I forget the name of this place but it located on rt 46, across from the willowbrook mall in fairfield. They sell alot of runco stuff. The owners name is steve.

I'll second the AVScience route. It might require a drive up to Rochester, but you'll literally be able to demo everything you could possibly be interested in...your drive time will certainly be made up in efficiency of your demo time.
