My new remote will not allow me to remotely select my "TV Device" from my Denon AV Surround Receiver. My old remote would (the old one has wornout). I have used numerous codes that will allow me to to select multiple devices connected to the Receiver but not the TV, including the old code that worked with the old remote.

I have a Mitsubishi HD TV and a Denon AVR-3805 AV Surround Receiver. I have Cox Cable with a DVR Motorola box. there is no brand name on the new remote; I assume the new remote is from Motorola since it looks exactly like one on their site.

I would appreciate any helpful suggestions!
