Just bought the bbc planet earth of blu ray. Looks amazing !!!

Just a few questions for other 110FD owners


1.) Which AV selection do you normally watch your set on just wondering what other owners are doing here ?(i normally have it in either 'pure' or 'optimum')

- I am currently using D-Nices pure settings he posted for the cableboxes on the first page of the kuro settings thread does anyone have any enhancment suggestions here ?

2.) Does anyone with the Hi Def BBC Planet Earth and 110FD also experience a lot pixelation on dark water scenes ? - the forest scenes look amazing but the water scenes are a lot mores pixelated just wondering what other owners maybe experiencing here ?

the pixelation in the dark water scenes is from the camera feed, not from the panel "not all Planet Earth captures are top notch, some are better than others", if you need more answers to your questions, just go to my "Official Pioneer Kuro Pictures Thread".

Actually that was the first thing I noticed was that the underwater shots were a little fuzzy in some scenes. Just not as jaw dropping as others. However the great white shark attack was amazing. I am using d-nice's settings on the 110/ps3 and yet to tweak any at all. Only had the plasma for a week so still a lot to learn.
